Will an amoral person, with no rules or boundaries on behavior, commit immoral acts? |
|
Now consider, any corporation is an amoral legal creation with a single guiding principle, "increase shareholder value."
It is ridiculous to think that without government regulation these man-made people are not going to throw old people out of their homes, hoodwink home buyers, and raid the treasury. It's simply what they have to do without any guiding regulation. If the corporate executives fail to act as callously as possible in the pursuit of money, they will be fired and replaced with someone who will.
So when Phil Graham deregulated the investment market, he and his cronies set in motion the theft of the wealth of the US. They need to be jailed.

2. Corporations are required by law to be AMORAL. |
|
This is why all this talk of "blue companies" is a farce. The BOD and managers of a corporation have a duty to maximize wealth for their shareholders, full stop. There is no other morality in the corporate world.
