Conservatives say it is child abuse to do anything at all to an unborn fetus. In fact they have even gone so far as to make laws calling it murder if a fetus is killed in some manner. Bristol is not yet a parent by my reckoning. She is a Pregnant girl that is soon to be a parent.

there is no way we can monitor every woman who smokes or drinks while pregnant. It's awful to do that to your baby, but the government can't be in the business of enforcing that.
