I heard that this morning. I don't believe it, but who can say for sure?

3. The latest National Enquirer talks about the oldest kids and all their drugs...
Read parts of it in the grocery store. I wouldn't put anything past this dysfunctional family!

4. I find that hard to believe
they would have been read the riot act prior to selection about something like that - no doubt it would come out if true

6. That was among my first thoughts, but you know .......
....... they really never vetted her. They picked her at the last minute and needed her at the convention post haste. I would bet almost anything they never, ever, asked such a question.

5. "Some people are saying" that it's true
...and that's good enough sourcing for me -- or at least for Fox! -- to run with it...

13. LOL. With Wasilla being the meth capital of AK
and that woman willing to do just about anything to advance her career, who's to say?

Personally, the more dirt on her, the better.

Evil cackle.

11. It's been said that Rev. Haggard was a big customer.
Can't say for sure, though.

I heard that through Haggard they were supplying meth to Joel's Army.

Keep them boys marching to glory.

16. It wouldn't really surprise me, but I haven't heard this rumor before
I work in Anchorage (population 260,000) and many of my clients have had problems with meth and marijuana. When they talk about the "valley" drug scene (keep in mind that Wasilla is part of the Matsu valley community just north of Anchorage population 80,000) they get kind of spooked about even discussing what goes on out there.

Anchorage leans much more liberal/democratic compared to the valley and the rest of the state. The valley culture is drug friendly, gun friendly, fundie, libertarian, and a lot of people that sell live out there. Land is cheap and people out there have a lot of privacy, acres and acres to grow and cook up batches.

When people in Anchorage talk about the valley drug scene their eyes get real big and the implication is "don't mess with these people!" We lovingly refer to them as valley trash. Mafia like, bad cops, and they protect themselves with violence at the drop of a hat. It is widely known that some powerful, extremely loyal groups run the show out there.I have heard of them making special trips into Anchorage to intimidate and harass Anchorage dealers that are up and coming.

There are a lot of good folks out there too (my Dad for one) that just love the beauty, lakes, rivers, and huge mountain ranges in every direction. It is truly gorgeous there.

18. Yes. I heard that! I read it on The Internets a few seconds ago!
So, I think this might be true, and I'm going to talk about it to other people to see if they might think it's true, too. :)
