Man, I'm tired...
I'm tired of being talked down to by the media, being treated like complete and utter idiots by the republicans morons and frustrated by our lack of effort by our Dem congress and house.

Obama is out there fighting in the trenches, but did you ever get the feeling sometimes that those who could really support him only give him tepid support at best?

This poor guy is out there breaking his ass not only running for president but dealing with attack after attack that he has to fight against not because he's a candidate but because he's a African American.

I'm tired, but frankly, I marvel at Obama's energy and spirit. If anyone has a right to be tired it should be him and I'm sure there are days where when he opens his eyes in the morning, he thinks, "what kind of bullshit lies are they going to tell about me today?"

Think of that pressure and stress, think about being in his shoes for a moment. I couldn't take it. And he's older than me! The man is going gray, yet, he's out there fighting, not to just be president but so the middle class and the poor have a voice again.

Now like I said, I'm tired, but you know what? Obama is tired and he still fights.

Now this is a challenge. Do one thing for Obama today, tomorrow, next week or next month but do it.

If it's putting on a bumper sticker (or giving one out), giving out a sign, make one call on a phone bank, talk to someone and show them what Obama stands for, correct a lie, help one person register to vote, any one thing. Just one.

If we all did at least one thing, amazing things could happen.

Obama travels all over the US daily, giving speeches, taking meetings, shaking hands, talking to people. many many many things all in the course of a single day.

Now ask yourself, "Can I do just one thing for him?"

Yes, you can.

The biggest concern I hear from "on the fencers" is that he doesn't have enough experience.

Randi Rhodes said on her show today to memorize the following as an answer to this concern.

"He graduated from Columbia Univ in 1983, majoring in political science, specialzing in international relations.

He spent three years as a community organizer in Chicago.

He graduated from Harvard Law School in 1991.

He taught constitutional law at University Law School of Chicago for 12 years.

He served as a State Legislator for 8 years.

He has served as a State Senator for 4 years.

I think he's ready."
