Cancer/Diabetes patients no medicine in donut hole. Where is their bailout?

I live in a low income senior building. It started in August people maxed out their part D. They have no savings. Many have little or no family or their families are also in financial or medical crisis.

All we can do is watch them collapse and go into the hospital by ambulance where Medicare hospitalizations pays for medicines. THIS IS INSANE. SPECULATORS AND GAMBLERS ARE BEING BAILED OUT.

I could start my own rant about the Part D fiasco and all the chaos it has caused only to benefit Big Drug, Big Insurance and the PBMs.

We've seen that too - cancer patients hit the d-hole & can't get their meds!!

It just gets more dystopian every day.
