O'Reilly Hacked for bashing hackers and those who posted the Palin e-mails.
Edited on Fri Sep-19-08 08:57 PM by EV_Ares
A hacker claims to have cracked the web site of Fox News commentator Bill O'Reilly and purloined a list of subscribers to the site, which includes their names, e-mail addresses, city and state, and the password they use for their registration to the site." http://blog.wired.com/27bstroke6/2008/09/bill-oreilly-ha.htmlPalin's e-mail got cracked by some kid and O'Reilly went off and bashed real hackers and bashed some websites that showed the infomation. He seemed to have pissed off a real hacker who has now posted the infomaton on wiki leaks. Now I think hacking like this is wrong and illegal but seriously, dont throw a rock into a bee hive and expect not to get stung.

From wikileaks: http://wikileaks.org/wiki/Bill_O'Reilly_hacked_2008
"Wikileaks has been informed the hack was a response to the pundit's recent scurrilous attacks over the Sarah Palin's email story--including on Wikileaks and other members of the press, The hacktivists, thumbing their noses at the pundit, took control of O'Reilly's main site, BillOReilly.com. According to our source, the security protecting O'Reilly's site and subscribers was "non-existent"."

You may also notice that unlike the person who cracked Palin's e-mail this person took a proper screen shot which shows no information other then the website itself.

2. Don't piss off the hackers
it's a game to them. They do it just to see if they can. They really don't give a shit and in the vast majority of cases are entirely too smart to get caught.

but

having watched "some" of it, this just makes this story all the more funny

of course what i saw of oreilly was him being his pompous ass as usual.

5. My Problem with Orielly going off on hackers
I think hacking is wrong of course, but O'Rielly is two faced.

If this had of been Obama's email that got hacked, he would of found it funny and would be telling us, if there is anything there that effects the election it should be made public, he would also be ripping into Obama for using a yahoo email address for government business.

I mean how freakin stupid can a politician get?
