Can someone help with some info?
Edited on Fri Sep-19-08 09:38 PM by Orrex
I'm almost sure that I've read here on DU that, historically, debt rises under Republican administrations and declines under Democratic ones. Is this correct?

If so, can someone point me to a good source for that information?

And anyone who advises me to use the Google is totally in love with Sarah Palin.

4. All is indeed pretty well, thanks for asking!
:hi:

Haven't been hanging out in GD or GD-P much lately, is all!

Thank you for the links; I'm preparing to discuss this with someone who wouldn't believe that it was raining even if he was standing in it, unless you could show him supporting documentation.

If You Want to Live Like A Republican, Vote Democratic (part II)
http://rtorgerson.blogspot.com/2004/06/if-you-want-to-live-like-republican.html

Part II has the best figures and a great graph.

These date from 2003-2004 but use historical data from the Bush administration's Office of Management and Budget's FY2005 Budget report.
