Don't tell me this guy's gunna make it through one term, let alone two. That thing on his face looks angry. And huge. And in that picture, look just above the shadow in the lower center the thing. Is that an ulcer?

Add to this his increasingly halting walk. His stuttering while reading. His inability to say anything without cue cards. His every move accompanied by a facial grimace.

That is not a well man.

no politican I have ever seen was good at bluffing a losing situation. That wears down the face to an ashen mask that defiance only confirms.

23. His flesh is dripping off in gobs.
His eyes are rotating wildly in their sockets, and he is spewing fountains of pea-green puke. His speech alternates between half-remembered platitudes, irrational outbursts, and glossolalia.

The rectangle on his back migrates randomly underneath his beige windbreaker, probing for a socket in his spinal column. The copper plate in his head gives off sparks. Children cry and suck their thumbs. Noxious fumes emanate from his pores. Teleprompters malfunction.

His few remaining wisps of white hair lie matted across his dampened scalp. As his knees buckle, his ice-eyed, robot wife lifts his entire weight with one titanium hand.

"My friendsszzz," he begins, the words buzzing and crackling. "My opponent...part of the problem...houses?...five and a half years...didn't have a house, didn't have a table...Fannie Mac...the Spanish menace..."

Smoke twirls upward from his collar, and his shoes burst into flames. Town Hall audience members scramble up the bleachers toward the exits. Arms outstretched, staggering, he moans, "...fundamentally sound...Janet Reno's her father...trollop..." He collapses onto the stage.

The brunette woman at his side raises he arms to the heavens, crying, "Yes, Lord! I am ready!!"

13. I agree. He shouldn't be running, purely for health reasons.
It seems unethical, or irresponsible, or something, to run for that office if you have specific, pre-existing reasons to doubt your health. It's courting trouble. Not that such things seem to concern republicans any more.

17. I suspect it is a shadow caused by spackle makeup to inadequately cover
his other surgeries.

Nevertheless, despite his "all clears" from his hired MDs, he is a time bomb.

Melanoma is a catastrophic diagnosis for many - ask Maureen Reagan - oh, no, you can't because she is dead.

My Dad survived due to early diagnosis and radical surgery -- but his site was not so near the brain AND he had NO other repeats unlike McPain.

McCain is Dead Man Walking and Rove and Palin know it.

18. I look at that pic and realize that he is trading his soul for his ambition.
He is willing to let the PNAC take over the country again, just to achieve his "ambition" that he's had for many years.. to be president. doesn't matter to him who he hurts or the deal he's made with the devil to do it.

He looks like shit. He looks frail and elderly. WTF can't the media see this? He is not vital enough for that job, and Palin is NOT qualified to be our president.

Recipe for disaster.

According to the medical documents released, beyond the melanoma, McCain has:
- A history of kidney and bladder stones requiring medication (HCTZ) to limit calcium uptake (and another med to supplement potassium loss from HCTZ);
- An enlarged prostate which he had surgery on;
- Repeat bouts of dizziness and vertigo caused by inner ear equilibrium trouble;
- High Cholesterol (currently taking simvastatin);
- Degenerative arthritis in his shoulders, hands and knees (POW!);
- Surgery to remove lymph nodes that might have been affected by melanoma (if I'm reading this right, this surgery is the one responsible for the swollen face, it's mostly scar tissue)

I'm sorry, but this man has enough to keep the staff of an assisted living home employed...
Oh, wait. I guess the White House is an assisted living home.

There's no way in hell he's going to be able to deal with the stress of being President.
20 hour days?
4 hours of broken sleep while jetting across country or internationally?
No way in hell.

At 72, my father, who had less problems than McCain does, had one hell of a time spending 3 hours cleaning out the gutters on the house. Of course, my dad was dead at 73 - all the more reason the concept of a McCain presidency scares the shit out of me.
