Out of Curiosity Looked Up Bios Of KO and Maddow - Whoa! They're Smart
KO graduated from an ivy league, Cornell, and Rachell Maddow graduated from Stanford and was a Rhodes scholar. Who knew? I had a stereotype of KO as smart, but he couldn't be all that academic, since he was a sportscaster, but you learn something new everyday.

5. Cornell used to be the most (internally) competitive school in the ivy league ...

... real dog-eat-dog vicious. It had a high suicide rate and lots of shrinks and meds. Then again, some just went to get 'high' above Cayuga's waters. Gorgeous campus setting. Great place for winos.

6. That reminds me of the old Cornell song..
High above Cayuga's waters
There's an awful smell
People say it is the water
But it is Cornell

7. I knew, actually.
Get tired of hearing people rag on KO as if he's an idiot just because he was (and recently, again is) a sportscaster. But it's not necessarily his Ivy League education that proves his intelligence--and even he will be the first to tell you he scraped through college because he spent more time at the campus radio station than attending class. He's just a smart guy. He also had excellent teachers at the prep school he attended before college. (I have a feeling his parents ponied up for private school because they knew they had an unusual kid on their hands.)
