Dean to PA students: "You are a great generation...It is your time. Don't blow it."

He was at Temple University in Philadelphia today campaigning for Obama and registering voters. They looked so enthusiastic.

Here is the video from the local Fox Station:

Howard Dean at Temple University

Here is the accompanying article.

Howard Dean To Young Voters: It's Your Time, Don't Blow It

Dean was the headliner at a voter registration rally hosted by College Democrats at Temple University. A crowd of a couple hundred heard the former Vermont governor and former presidential candidate call for young people to lead the way in taking the White House from the G.O.P.

"We need real change in this country, and young people aren't afraid of change," said Dean.

He urged this college crowd to get involved-- knock on doors, make phone calls and- most important of all- get out and vote.

"You are a great generation," Dean told the crowd, "It is your time. Don't blow it."

More of what was said:

Dean's appearance at Temple generated lots of enthusiasm- and later- in a one-on-one interview, he told me he's confident the feeling will last.

"These folks aren't staying home," he told me. "They know it's their time- their generation. That the torch is being passed, as Jack Kennedy said to the new generation."

Any fears that they'll stay home?

"No," said Dean. "None."

1. Many/most of their parents don't have 'any money' anymore......
...so they're "on their own" (which is a GOOD thing)!

Get active, UNDERSTAND (as much as possible) what's going on these days. State and Stand your 'position' on it all. (Roll with the changes too, as necessary ~ REO Speedwagon).

Peace,
