I have an idea: Get the worship of Elvis to replace Christian fundamentalism

Think of the bennies:

- January 8th will be declared a religious holiday, if not an extra day off from work

- Straight folks will be encouraged to dress in flashy clothes with lots of sequins... It's be a gay extravaganza

- Instead of trying to get the Ten Commandments installed everywhere, all they'll try to do is make a Hajj to Graceland

- Elvis loved everybody... Especially, red heads

- It'll get all of the fundies out of government and into fried peanut butter and banana restaurants, where they belong

- Instead of priests, people would have their marriages officiated by Elvis impersonators... Wait a sec, they're already doing that in Vegas

- No pesky Old Testament or Book of Revelation to deal with

- Instead of waiting for the Rapture to happen, they can all go to Memphis any time they want to
