Is any of that $85 billion going for golden parachutes? |
|
That's something I want to know. I suspect I know the answer.

1. Probably -- I was thinking about this last night.... |
|
First, it's going to end up costing the taxpayers probably over a trillion dollars. Every single one of us is going to pay for this. If you're too poor to pay taxes, you're still going to pay for it because I guarantee this will come out of programs that help the poor (among other areas).
So here's MY question. When (not if) we find out that they've gotten golden parachutes, why can't American citizens mount a class action suit to try and force them to pay it back? I know that even if citizens won they'd never see any of the money, but that's not even the point for the most part. It would highlight it and it would make their lives just a little more miserable.

That out handouts-to-the-rich government refused to pay the golden parachutes? Or did I hallucinate it after a night of no sleep?
