Lear Jet crashes in South Carolina - four musicians dead

Gavin DeGraw, the versatile singer-songwriter who will headline tonight’s block party in Five Points, treats them like they want to be treated.

“It’s a little more rock or a little more R&B,” he said of his style. “It really depends on what room I’m in and seeing the vibe that they’re in.”

Well, he won’t be in a room tonight. DeGraw will perform on an outdoor stage at Harden and Greene streets in a party that will recall last year’s End of Construction bash.

The event, part of wireless company T-Mobile’s “Hello Carolinas” campaign, also will feature DJ AM and Travis Barker and Perry Farrell and Satellite Party.

Steve Aoki (founder of dim mak and discovered Bloc Party, the Kills, etc) also performed at the tmobile event, he was fortunate enough to have another event in Miami that evening so presumed safe.

Gavin has a show in Albuquerque, NM tomorrow so I doubt he was on the flight to Van Nuys.

The big question is Perry Farrell (founder and former frontman of Jane's Addiction) and satellite party. There are 3 members of Satellite Party, Perry and 2 others - los angeles based.

4 killed, 2 survivors - one of the dead is a pilot based on the survivors. It's a small jet so I doubt there would be 2 pilots. That leaves 3 unknown. Travis has kids - 3 little ones so I doubt they went. They just said 1 female and 3 males dead. Satellite Party is 2 males and 1 female.

Apparently the set up for travis dj-am is it's just the 2 of them performing, whether management went, or girlfriends is up in the air.

Logically T-Mobile would have probably put them all on a learjet together if they were all going back to Los Angeles. I cant seem to find any satellite party tour dates listed anywhere. It's also possible that other TMobile employees were traveling with them.

2 crew members were killed in the crash so I would now suspect that the remaining 2 were guests or working with travis/adam.

13. Eyewitness reported that a fireball crossed the road in front of him.

He saw 2 people out of the plane standing and slapping each other trying to put the fire out. One began pulling his clothes off. The witness said he tried to help them, and he went over to the plane. It was too hot. They flew the injured to Augusta, GA where they have excellent medical facilities to treat injuries like that. Not good with burns though. That type of injury always creeps me out.
