The Perfect Bookends.

The economic calamity that took place this week was the perfect bookend to 9/11, and just as 9/11 spurred the Patriot Act, the invasions of Afghanistan and then Iraq, so too is this week's economic incident being used to fleece us all in the name of "security".

The panicky ill-thought out reaction is disturbingly similar to those first few days and weeks after 9/11/ The same rush by politicians to make rash decisions. Deja Vu all over again.

I think we are being fleeced, again. I think this is another LIHOP incident. Break something and then get paid to fix it. It is a very old con game, the old protection racket thing.

Who is representing the people? How can they continue to spend our tax money on war, and now more corporate bailouts without being given the right of health care or shelter?
