How we got here IS the issue!
I am so fucking tired of listening to Rethugs say we have to look forward and not dwell on whose to blame. Knowing how we got into a crisis is the ONLY way to decide how to solve it. Whether it's 9/11, Iraq, the housing bubble, financial malfeasance or corruption. We need to know who fucked up and why, or we can't fix anything.
Blame is not a game, it's accountability.

1.  The GOP, the party that has politicized every thing in their pursuit of "Getting Gubmint off the
off the backs of Bizness" They don't want to point fingers?

They spent the last 20 years offering FDR's reforms and regulation of banks and business
(Designed to prevent exactly the situation we are in) up to the alter of St. Ray Gun.

We know who fucked up and why.

The "Conservatives" fucked up by unleashing all the worst aspects of greed and unrestrained capitalism.
Why? Because they are a bunch of greedy children.

2. It´s the ENTITLEMENT game,
everyone who thinks that he´s entitled to more can play.

When the game is over, the spectators go home with an empty wallet.

3. They always say that when they get caught red-handed.

It's nothing but a dodge to avoid their just-due for causing this.

You're exactly right! If we don't understand it, we'll repeat it. And this Repub Philosophy has to be finally killed or it will come back yet again. It should've never gained credibility again after the Depression. This time it has to be debunked forever.

The writers and thinkers have a job to do in finally killing this as a viable idea, or any solution we come up with will be short-lived. It has to go to the point where any candidate who advocates this again, would get no votes.

Heck, we should not only blame bigtime... we need to PROSECUTE THE HELL OUT OF THOSE REPONSIBLE, any way possible! Beginning with GRAMM. (And his vicious little wife Wendy.) It would take a whole lot of blame to get to that point, and lots of Americans want exactly that.

4. Never admit your mistakes ...
that way you don't have to pay for them.
