it's news that so many people in Texas, Louisiana and Ohio don't have power.

For all those Rethugs who think the trodden should pull themselves up by their own bootstraps, we just heard from a Rethug governor, "We can't do this without federal help. Call your senators & representatives...if you have a cousin who knows a senator or representative, have them call for help."

And, of course, he takes a subliminal potshot at Louisiana: "I know Texans -- they will be in there removing debris on their own." Let's just see how that pans out. Louisianans were prevented for weeks, sometimes months, from entering into their areas.

Remember how Texas was being evacuated for Rita & this same governor proclaimed on tv that "Texas was going to show Louisiana how to handle a hurricane." Be careful what you say; it may come back to haunt you. Again, let's see how that pans out. Especially in regard to Bolivar.
