New Al Qaeda Tape Surfaces Despite US Efforts to Block It
Cyber War as US Disrupts Terrorists' Propaganda Effort

By BRIAN ROSS, REHAB EL-BURI and RICH ESPOSITO
September 19, 2008

Al Qaeda's annual September 11 propaganda video surfaced today, delayed eight days by a concerted US effort to block it.

Video is released despite U.S. efforts to block it.The tape showed no new pictures or statements from Osama bin Laden, although an al Qaeda figure was interviewed saying bin Laden was in "good health."

Al Qaeda also showed a video it said was captured from a US bounty hunter, Keith "Jack" Idema, as he appeared to threaten to kill an Afghani citizen during an interrogation.

Idema was later convicted by an Afghan court and sentenced to prison there. He maintained at his trial that he was secretly working for US intelligence in the hunt for bin Laden, an assertion flatly denied by US officials.

3. That was posted here when the tape was first released - I think it was
released to Al Jezeera. I re-posted it because the first one sank, and so did my follow-up effort.

There was nothing in the news about this (naturally). Now I'm disappointed that we didn't deluge the MSM with this story so that hey had to acknowledge it.

Isn't that sad? The MSM gets much of their news leads from us, the people who actually pay attention and care.

4. I heard about this on the radio this morning...
...supposedly Osama said something about how 'there are fewer attacks on American's'; ...first thing I thought was, Wow, Osama's reporting how the 'surge is working'.

Re: "Video is released despite U.S. efforts to block it", if this knuckleheads can't keep "Osama" from spreading his propaganda, how can people believe they're keeping us safe?
