General election voting begins Monday here in Georgia!!
A new law passed in georgia this year allows any registered voter to use an absentee ballot without needing a reason. Starting this Monday 9/22/08 you can go into any county election office and vote in person on an absentee ballot! Come on people that means we have over 6 weeks to vote and turn this state blue...please tell everyone you know that they can do this...too many people have schedules that prevent them from voting on election day...this in person absentee balloting has extended hours on some days and saturdays too...no excuse to not get your vote cast....I am a liberal new yorker suffering his way through living in Macon GA...help me!!!!!

1. In GA
voting is done on electronic machines. At least that's how it's been done in past GA early voting.
