As most Americans are beginning to understand this bailout is a reverse-robinhood scheme. Given all of the problems that bush has caused, it is now, at last, time for him to resign if he demands that this rip-off bailout be passed.

Besides, who elected him president? No one. He has no right to AGAIN brow-beat Americans into unwise action. We've played that game and lost. It's time for America to start winning again.

1. If Congress doesn't have the courage to say No to Bush,
...then they don't have the courage to impeach him, either.

2. That's true. What they might do is find a stop-gap measure if bush demands urgent action.
A stop-gap measure rather than the full-blown bush rip-off bailout. This thing needs to be stopped.

and hammer out a counterproposal. Whether the Democrats are capable of doing this, considering the ineptitude of their leadership- particularly that of Harry Reid (who "doesn't know what to do") is an open question.

7. No! It must be that we do not allow the Blue Dog Dems to
play cowardly lions and succumb to Shrub's brow-beating them into accepting the bail-out ripoff.

If they do cave, as per usual, we need to demand their resignations.

9. I emailed my reps & senator tonight. Tried to email polosi but her
site does not take out of state emails. Oberstar and Amy will listen but that is only two.

11. This has been planned since day one. First they changed and strengthened the
bankruptcy laws which paved the way for the future predatory lending and corrupt credit practices.

None of this is incompetency, but malicious, deliberate rape and pillaging of the national treasure,
our futures and our children's futures. We should all be in the streets demanding Wall Street find
their own way out of this calculated mess and that our "leaders" be thrown out of office.
