How many presidents could have produced a resume quite like this one:
* The worst attacks ever inside the country
* Two unnecessary wars
* Presiding over the first generation not to be better off than their parents
* A drop in real wages among American workers
* Two recessions and the biggest financial crisis since the 1920s
* Obscene deficits and deficit-spending
* The loss of two American cities to hurricanes
* Alienation of allies in every corner of the globe
* Incredible plunge in the value of the dollar
* One, and likely two, stolen elections
* Decimation of the Constitution
* Defiance of the Geneva Conventions and the unapologetic use of torture
* Illegal spying and wiretapping of US citizens
* Filled top government jobs with incompetent political hacks
* Re-ignited the Cold War
* Allowed oil companies and other polluters to write environmental policy

And he's still got 4 months to go!!!

3. When you lay it out like that, it's actually pretty impressive.

(and just in case...)

:sarcasm:

5. Quite a list when you see it like that.
But I disagree with you about decimation of the Constitution.

I think that means he got rid of a tenth of it.

I'd say he did more damage than that.

7. You could make a similar list for Reagan
The bombings in Beirut, illegal wars in Central America, The 70's generation who looked to be worse off than their parents, a drop in real wages, the 1987 stock crash which was the biggest financial crisis since the 1920s, sky high interest, obscene deficits and military induced deficit-spending, alienation of allies, etc etc

Just looks like the Grand Old Party to me.
