Congress Must Demand Bush and Cheney Resign
George Bush wants taxpayers to pay $700 billion to bail out Wall Street for its reckless investments in mortgage-backed securities. That's on top of $800 billion for other recent bailouts, including A.I.G., Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Bear Stearns.

The current financial disaster is the direct result of the Bush-Cheney Administration's 8-year policy of deregulation, corruption, and greed.

The Bush-Cheney Administration cannot be trusted to solve the massive problems they created. Before Congress gives the Bush Administration one dime of taxpayer money for financial bailouts, Congress must demand the immediate resignation of George Bush, Dick Cheney, and Henry Paulson and the appointment of Speaker Nancy Pelosi as President until our next President is sworn in on January 20, 2009.

6. Let me know when they get started on that
It hasn't happened yet, I don't see how anyone can believe it will possibly happen now. The Dems are not interested in justice, they're only interested in winning in November.

4. They were complicit for sure, but they were NOT responsible for
this mess. The real problems began with Reagan when he started the Pub policy of deregulating everything, privatising every Dept, trickle down economics, and dismanteling the unions. Every Pub Prez since has promoted that phylosophy and it's finally crashed

There's a tad less than 4 months left for Shrub & Darth. There's no way either will ever resign and no time to impeach, so dismiss that idea from your brain. It's not going to happen!

Push as hard as you can for a new Dem administration, and Biden has already said he would support hearings on the crominal activities of the current admin, so revenge is possible.

I must disagree with you on these problems. You have not dug far enough back. The real start was in 1948 when Nixon was the rethug lawyer on when the anti-labor Taft-Hartley laws were written. He later started the real movement as potus with the help of his accolades Cheney and Rummy. As much as I despised Reagan, he was not smart enough to do these things. It was the behind the curtain rethug money men then as it is now. My memory has failed me, t was 1947 that TH was passed. BY the by Joe McCarthy was also one of the conspirators.

The website's name should have provided a clue, since you obviously haven't even taken a cursory glance at the terms of use.

14. Caretaker Pres. Danforth Or Warner Would Be Better
It need not look like a "partisan coup."

Surely suggesting that generations of American taxpayers pick up the tab for worldwide wealthfare is an impeachable offense. Not as bad as torture and war crimes, but bad enough. And perhaps the magnitude of this "high misdemeanor" can http://talkingimpeachment.com/toolbox/cure-impeachophobia">break DC-Dems out of their impeachophobic coma.

But it will likely take the threat of real punishment (prison) afforded by the torture charges to help them "see the wisdom" of resigning. Impeachment can and would be for multiple reasons -- including terrorizing the nation into war with lies of "mushroom clouds" -- regardless of what specifics are on the articles.

And for those who've been saying "only 18 months," "only 9 months," and now "only 4 months." You'll have to accept your own measure of responsibility for the unnecessary deaths, ongoing torture, now bankrupting the nation, and whatever more havoc these "lame ducks" can wreak until they are confronted with impeachment and/or prosecution.

The weakness projected by Failure to Impeach may well cost us 4 more years of it.
