Some one is gonna break into your home and steal EVERYTHING
that you have, have worked for, your ancestors have passed on to you.

And when they break into your home to rob you blind, "What will you do"?

1. Anyone trying to break into our house
Will have a problem doing that...

We have an alarm system.

We use it...

It works.

But if they succeed somehow in getting in, we will most likely let them take what they want.

Our lives are way more important than most things.

7. It happened to me years ago
And I slept with a butcher knife and those old fashioned cast iron window wieghts under my bed for a long time. I'd thought about having my parents send a shotgun down. Even the police were telling me to make sure I shot them in the house or if I shot them outside to drag the body into the house, and, they woudn't ask any questions

14. I have a big back yard and years upon years of pent up rage.
Some nights, I wish the wind was some asshole just trying to push me over the edge. I'll admit, it wouldn't take much and they'd rue the day the ever thought about messing with me or my family. I shit you not. I have enough rage (and weapons of all types) for that.

3. Nothing.
That's just what the neocons were 'banking' on.

American men -as are many other 'men' - are eunichs.

16. I think Mind_your_head is referring to the so-called "bailout",
the amount of which is unlimited, which you are required to pay for one way or the other.

4. I can physically defend my home
I cannot alone defend the dismantling of our economy. I am not rich enough to be listened to by the ptb.

8. Take a shotgun and shot them in the face.
Don't humanize. Demonize the fuckers, that way you won't hesitate to pull the trigger and blow the fucker's head off.

10. As a single woman without a gun in the house...
give it to 'em. I've thought about getting a gun, but for some reason can't see the scenario working out like I'd want it to. Where is it? Do I keep it loaded? Can I unlock it in time? Will he overpower me as I resolve all this?

11. Texas has the "Castle Law"
If someone is stealing your possessions, you can legally shoot them. And shoot them, I would. Anyone who breaks the sanctity of my home will die a quick and immediate death. I will not sacrifice the safety of my family for the life of a thief. He made the choice, I will just carry out his fate.

15. I have a very large, loud dog whose main function - other
than being a loved pet - is as an alarm system.

I live in a neighborhood whrer there are several druggies who would not be above stealing from anyone they felt had anything valuable, and I would certainly not feel too bad about shooting them.

17. My most valuable thing-type possessions
are antique/rare books. I don't know if a burglar would know which ones are valuable. And how many could he carry? A dozen? If he spoils their condition they won't be worth as much. Unless he were a dashing, erudite sort of ne'er do well. What if he kidnaps me!?

Now you got me all Stockholm Syndrome flustered.
