And Then the Rain Came
WSU Quarterback senior quarterback Gary Rogers was injured tonight and taken off the field by ambulance. I covered the game and not only saw something remarkable, I also got to photograph it. The coach for Portland State prompted both teams, the entire bench on the field behind the ambulance. He had them take a knee the whole time medics tended to Rogers. 1. Great pics..

Yeah we were watching the game. Last news story I saw said that Rogers was being held for observation, but has "full movement."

The tv commentator went to great lengths to talk about how religious everyone on the team was and how it showed - which I found a bit presumptive of him, but given the situation....

2. I don't know why the commentator did that
it wasn't a religious thing at all. It was all about respect for a fellow player, that commentator was way off base.
