So, I see the Devil Ray's made to the playoffs, wonder if that's going to get them their new park? |
|
A few year ago, they were giving tickets away, then they decide they need a new ballpark, downtown, waterfront... So, how do you get taxpayers to part with their money, when their schools and roads are crubling around them and Tent Cities are popping up all over town, you win... Am I supposed to glow in revelry over their wonderful season, or suspect that their wins are more propaganda to part citizens with their money?

4. Oh, sorry.. I don't care for baseball at all.. so I don't know any of the teams.. |
|
I don't live in St. Pete, but in the county.. not sure if they'll hit us all over the head for this wonderful ballpark which will NOT produce the revenue.. it never does.

as someone who once worked for an MLB franchise you can bet your sweet ass that stadium will be funded by taxpayers, whether they realize it or not.
