I am so looking forward to the fall.

1. Aaaaaarrrrrggggghhhhh....

I hate fall. It is so beautiful, but I can't enjoy it because it means winter is on the way, and here in Michigan, for non-cold-weather-lovers, it is a looooonnnnggggg, cold, time of year.

Pretty picture, though, and your ducks are very cute in your sig line! They don't eat frogs, do they?

2. I would be, but not with no heating oil and no money to buy enough at current prices.

If I make it at all, it's going to be a long, cold, and miserable winter.

It's really a beautiful time of year and my favorite season.

but then I live in the Southeast where the heat of summer really does get old towards the end. Fall brings renewed energy and activity. I love the time of harvest, nut-gathering, stock-taking, reflection and ELECTIONS! Bring it on...I'm going to have a Champagne Bonfire to celebrate President Obama the first week of November. We have an effigy of Chimpy (which actually was a functional scarecrow) to throw on the fire. It'll be a mini Burning Man festival.
