Another transfer of wealth and power. Another stolen election, or..? |
|
The bail out is not in any way about protecting the US citizen. That much is clear by now to much of the punditry, and, I'm assuming, all DU'ers. It is all about rewarding greed and incompetence with taxpayer money, with zero culpability for the crooks who corkscrewed the economy into the ground. And all without judicial review.
It is also the latest, and probably most blatant, transfer of power yet to the Executive. And that is saying a lot after granting King George war making powers; FISA; and a Get-Out-of-Jail-Free card on a tall stack of abuses.
But why? With every indication now that Palin will be returning to her beloved aerial wolf hunts over the Alaskan skies after this election, what is the Recriminal Party thinking? Are they actually comfortable with handing over the keys to the Unitary Exec's Oval Office after something so arbitrary as a free and fair election?
Unless they know that 1) they have the election in the bag for McBush, or 2) they have no intention of an election even taking place, or 3) they somehow expect Obama to continue exercising their fascistic plan, why would they risk such a power transfer?
October or September surprise, anyone?

2. It would be more just for Palin to return to impeachment hearings in November |
|
but it seems that she'll get away with her shenanigans up North.

They know Obama is going to win, and this "bailout" will cripple him even worse when it comes to making "changes" that would help the people of this country. Putting another "trillion" on the tab isn't going to make things easy at all in Obama's first 4 years. I think their plan is to do as much damage as they can before they leave office, then try and pin everything Bush has done to screw things up on Obama in his first term. Then they figure on coming back in 2012 with an easy win that will keep them in office to continue to do their dirty work!
