As usual Bush did not mention raising taxes to pay for the bailout.
The plan seems to smack of hobbling the ability of the Democrats so they can not carry out their added safety nets like universal health care.

I'd like to have some first hand info as to availability of loans to businesses in other words was Paulson being honest about loans being frozen?

1. Not surprising. Obama just said, "No blank check!"
That's exactly what I want to hear. I want either his or Bernie Sanders Bailout proposal. The Bush/Paulson proposal is totally unacceptable.

2. Taxes need to be cut to pay for it
That's what they have the republicans believing, although they have been proved wrong, time and time again.
