How many voters have you registered today? Yesterday? How many
Edited on Sun Sep-21-08 01:52 PM by daninthemoon
will you register tomorrow? Have you put any signs in your yard? Have you volunteered and put up signs in neighborhoods? This election will be the most important in our lifetimes. If you don't do something to help now, immediately, you may never get another chance. I live in Oklahoma. The land of Inhoffe. The Bible belt buckle. Lots of folks here really don't know things like the fact that Iraq didn't attack us, and they vote strictly on two things: abortion and gay marriage. Facts about those two issues just confuse them. These are the people who already vote here, who vote for Mcsame and Inhoffe. We need new voters.
My wife and I put up signs yesterday, and she's at the mall right now registering voters. People are desperate to vote, but often need that little bit of help from someone walking up to them, helping them fill out and sign the registration, and then taking the registration forms to the courthouse. My wife is having a blast, and even here in rightwing fundamentalist Oklahoma, we have both found that there are people desperate for change. Please, get out the vote. Carry some registrations around and seek opportunities at work or while shopping. Put up some signs. We need an overwhelming victory.

1. I canvassed yesterday some Obama supporters some crazies and some hostile...
We live in a conservative area near Medford Oregon. We are canvassing again another neighborhood this week, no sign yet to get in the yard.....

I agree with everything you have said Barack the Vote!!! Now!!! The time is short...We have very little time to make a difference. One girl was not going to vote then she took the registration form and an Obama brochure...and maybe just maybe she will change her mind.....

Barack the VOTE!!!!

Thanks for the yell out!
