My fax to all of my Congress critters and the Senate Banking committee
After reviewing Treasury Secretary Paulson’s plan for saving Wall Street from their impending financial failures, I want you to know what I, as a taxpayer having to pay for this bailout, want in the bailout package.

Wall Street for years has raked in billlions of dollars for itself and now wants a blank check from the taxpayers to make up for their greed, malfeasance and stupidity. The answer is NO BLANK CHECK! Bad decisions require consequences, not a free bailout!

If Wall Street wants financial help, than they must agree to the following:

1) New Accountability and Disclosure Regulations to keep this from happening again. This happened in the 1920’s, it happened in the 1980’s with the Savings & Loan debacle, and here it is, the third time they’ve needed help. NO MORE -- Enough is Enough!
2) There must be a prompt and total REPAYMENT schedule - they need to pay for what they did, no free lunch & no free ride.
3) All homeowners should get to stay in their homes, and money should be set aside for refinancing their mortgage if necessary. If we are helping out Wall Street, we need to help out Main Street.

Thank you for your attention, and I appreciate your efforts in protecting the taxpayers money from further Wall Street abuses.
