Just thought I'd give a synopsis of what he had to say this morning on the teevee shows, for those who missed it.

Congressional hearings sometime AFTER the election. To hell with this bum's rush that Paulson wants to give us.

3. Did you see Dodd and the boner on George this morning

They were carrying on about how stunned they all were to be briefed on the imminent trouble we as a nation were in.

George asked for some details about what was said.

Both Dodd and the boner just said - "it's too much to discuss on a Sunday morning talk show." and then they sat silently not answering the question.

These bastards. They just will not share the truth - and that is both sides of the aisle. Both sides are simply guilty as hell in creating this economic debacle. And they do not want the truth to come out.

4. Why Should Anyone Believe a Word Out Of Paulson's Mouth???

He was one of the architects of our brave new financial world, and has either lied or been wrong about everything to date.

Because there have been several DUers warning about this precise outcome for a few years. The signs were there for those who chose to heed them. The milestones were ticked off.

You'd think the people elected to RUN THIS COUNTRY would show at least as much interest in its welfare as internet bloggers.

Sorry, Senators, I don't buy it. Any more than I buy the argument that the majority of you really, truly care about this country beyond what you can pillage from it.
