What is wrong with our Congress and why are our Democrats on Banking and Finance willing to go along when they know they have been snookered over and over again with disastrous consequences.

If Bush get's everything he wants I think McCain/Palin will win the election. They will look strong and the Dems weak for not standing up to this unpopular (with American people) bailout rushed through as the only solution to world market implosion.

I don't believe this crisis is imminent. There must be another solution and since we aren't being given another option to discuss then it's suspicious.

Why won't our Dems call a TIME OUT...? Why do they want to look weak?

I've just about given up on any change. Next he will get authority to bomb Iran or Pakistan for all we know if we give Chimperor this all wrapped up in a pretty ribbon.
