Has it really come to this???
After World War II, the allies in Europe had to govern Germany. One of the first things that had to be done was the de-nazification of the country. Similar steps had to be taken in Japan as well as a new constitution. When we win in November, (if shrub doesn't declare martial law and cancel the elections), will it be necessary for the de-republicanization of this once great country? All of this talk of depressions, and open revolution are bringing these thoughts to the fore.

1. I hope that our suffering doesn't become
insurmountable, and believe it, people are going to suffer. It's my hope that the people will learn from this, and that the country will move left - not faux left, but truly left.

2. de-republicanization
that's a lot to type, I think de-nazification serves the same purpose now and gets the point across nicely :D

4. I used it because some here
go berserk with the rethuglican/nazi comparisons. I just want their whole friggin' ideology wiped out, and the nuremburg trials to start.

3. The list of Bush Crimes in mind Boggling...
I was just reviewing a partial list of Bush Crimes against Americans since he has been in office. It is almost too much to comprehend. Shredding the Constitution, using Public Officials agains U.S. Citizens, Illegal search and seizure, torture, and on and on and.... And what is worse.. is that not one person in CONgress stood up and did their job!

5. Restore the Fairness Doctrine. It will be surprising how quickly things fall back in place.

And, of course, replace the BushCo FCC with non-puppets.
