I guess saving lives isn't as important as saving a fraudulent system and corrupt assholes' money.

fuck em. And fuck anyone in congress who goes along with this crap. 42 years I have been here and never seen a rush from our government for health care for all people. I guess your life is not worth it to folks in Washington - they can come up with hundreds of billions in one day, and fund a war to boot, but they aren't about to work hard for what we really want and need.

Everything seems broken from education to the environment, from trade deficits to lack of oversight.

A government by the people and for the people has become a government by the corporations for the corporations - they are too big to fail and we are too small to matter.

Fuck em all.

1. Boy, that brings up some painful memories... forget that

Andy should have had all the care provided that our European counterparts would have had. Forget that we had to rally behind to collect the money to fund his surgery.

What makes my blood boil is that even after all that, the most vile people on the "right" made sure through their inherent meanness that Andy would not get his surgery in a timely way--by implying fraud with paypal and the hospital--and delaying the care he so desperately needed. Karma has not yet shown itself with these horrendous creatures.... Perhaps it will, but damn-- they should pay for their cruelty and inhumanity. That they have not, makes my blood boil...

Painful memories, indeed.

2. After the current fiasco - socialized bailouts for fat cats -
there is no argument against single payer, universal healthcare.
