CRIMINAL ACTIVITY GOING ON AT WALL STREET AIG UP BIG TIME
The corporations and the corporations investors are making money off the little guy American Taxpayer as AIG climbs at a record setting pace.

Also, sour grapes for me as I'm invested elsewhere.

1. That's their reward for utter failure. When I fail, I lose. When they fail, they win.
That's my money, and yours, making them all so goshdarn giddy.

12. is it a bad thing? AIG was bought out by our Gov't, right?
could the rally show there's faith in AIG now that it has been bailed out?

5. I believe the taxpayers are making money on AIG.
We own it now, right? Let the stock soar. If we don't own it yet, and taxpayers will be expected to but AIG at a higher price, well then, fuck em.

7. Yup, we took it over. That means we get the profits right?
I mean we took the risk. It was our money they used.

8. Partly due to the fact that the new ceo, liddy, was a partner with rumsfeld at searle
and AIG had it's origins among the intelligence community.

What happened to AIG was predicted years ago by Lucy Komisar. Below is a must read AIG article by her that was posted on Corp Watch November 17, 2004 shortly before some economists bluntly stated that the US was bankrupt.

10. What is Criminal About That?
Edited on Mon Sep-22-08 02:29 PM by ribofunk
It reflects public knowledge of AIG's financial future. The price was extremely depressed primarily because of the risk of bankruptcy, which is now pretty much moot.

On Edit: I bought a little AIG last week at about 2.35 and got stopped out. Almost bought more at 2.17. Would have been the right move.
