We can’t let Bush and McCain start WWIII, we could stop them with the truth.
The Bush White House, along with the help of McCain, and our corporate owned-and-controlled media, are repeating the same lie over and over again. They keep telling us that “Russia attacked Georgia”, when the truth is, it was Georgia who drew first blood.

This piece of propaganda could lead us into WWIII. We simply can’t let the defense tycoons in the White House lie us into another war, -a BIGGER war, WORLD WAR III.

I found three legitimate sources to back my claim.

Speaking at an event organised by the German Marshall Fund in Washington, Ms Rice acknowledged that Georgia had fired the first shots in the breakaway region of South Ossetia.

"The Georgian government launched a major military operation into Tskhinvali and other areas of that separatist region," she said.
"Regrettably, several Russian peacekeepers were killed in the fighting," she added.
But Ms Rice said that Russia had escalated the conflict.

NATO claims solidarity with Georgia

The war has damaged Saakashvili's standing on Georgia's turbulent political stage, with Georgians questioning the wisdom of Georgia's Aug. 7 offensive targeting separatist South Ossetia. Saakashvili claims Georgia was responding to Russian aggression.

Russian tanks, troops and warplanes repelled the Georgian attack on its South Ossetian allies and drove deep into Georgia in a five-day war that killed hundreds of people and displaced nearly 200,000.

Pope calls for peace in Georgia

The pope made the remarks in the northern Italian city of Bressanone, where he was ending a two week holiday. Vatican sources said he was following the swiftly moving events in the Caucasus region, where a Georgian army operation in South Ossetia last week prompted a heavy Russian retaliation that extended far into Georgian territory.

4. Yes, awareness is very important,
we have to write letters to the editors, write the MSM and tell them WE KNOW THE TRUTH!! Write our reps in Washington!!!

Our government is telling us that Russia was the aggressor, our policy is to stick by our allies, this lie could bring us to a war with Russia.

Copy paste this thread. The truth is here, we just have to spread it.

Thank you.

5. I agree it's important to know the truth. But we can't stop them just by knowing.
I'm pretty sure they think it's funny that we know.

6. Are you kidding me with this exchange.
You don't get the idea that we could stop a war with mass numbers of people knowing the truth.

I give up. ....Most people want to talk about Sarah Palin anyway.
