1. So sad. Even though standing, it's probably not habitable.
The owner was on the phone with CNN yesterday and said they hadn't been back yet.

5. It's only heartbreaking if you don't know anything about sandbars, spits, and barrier islands.
It was never a matter of if those houses would be destroyed but only when.

6. Yes, I admit, I know nothing of , sandbars, spits, and barrier islands.
But, my heart can still ache for these poor people. Thier hopes, thier dreams, were tied up in these homes. Yeah, they probably were betting "on the wind". But this is kind of person who built this nation. If we all bet on "a shure thing", we would never have left the East coast. IMHO, this country was based on rebels. I stand with the rebels! I will try to do what you tell me i CANNOT do.
