Remember when voting was something we took for granted?

I never worried that something weird was going to happen with my vote before 2000. Maybe I'm naive but I thought our system was basically sound and fair, and working. After 2000 it was revealed out fragile it really is and after 2004 I felt even worse. Instead of feeling more secure now its come home to roost in my own state, which used to be one of the least corrupt. So when do we start to turn this all around?
