Lou Dobbs is Ripping Paulson's Plan to Bail out "Foreign Banks!"

I'm not a fan of Lou or regular watcher but tonight his lede captured attention... He said it was a show for indpendents where he would expose what the politicians are trying to bail out with our tax dollars.

He pointed out that just a week ago Paulson was saying our Economy was Sound...and he showed clip of Paulson saying that. He made big deal over just a few days later Paulson is begging for Bail Out.

So far he's been better than any of the other Cable Shows I've surfed on the "Bail Out." He's ripping Congress, both Candidates and while he mentions UBS (he didn't divulge the connection with Phil Gramm, UBS and reapeal of Glass-Steagal act) but he mentioned Royal Bank of Scotland and one other that will be at the trough to take our tax dollars.

So far it's been great...to see the outrage..even if I can't stand him.

and you still don't get that he'll turn this around against Democrats.

3. Watch. If the Democrats reinstituted Glass-Steagall, he'd say Dems are hurting the market.

And he will let Phil Gramm off the fucking hook for repealing that Depression-era protection in 1999.

5. He just asked that CNN Poll Reporter why Americans don't know about Glass -Stegall...

but he blamed in on Clinton signing it... (which is true...he could have vetoed it like Bush does to everything Dems vote on) but Dems voted against getting rid of Glass-Steagall (except one Dem Traitor) while all Repugs voted for it. So, he's correct. Clinton got rid of it and Dobbs did say both Repugs and Dems were on a couple of Decades of De-Regulation.

Maybe his loyal audience will look up "Glass-Stegall" and get informed. :shrug:

If he didn't tell the entire truth - he's wrong. The reason we're in this mess is because we keep accepting half-truths from these media asshats.
