"Two Weeks In, Maddow A Hit For MSNBC" |
|
With two weeks under her TV belt, Rachel Maddow has become a bonafide hit for MSNBC. Last week the program was #2 in cable news in both the A25-54 demo and in Total Viewers at 9pmET, beating CNN's Larry King Live. FNC's Hannity & Colmes was the top-rated broadcast at 9pmET. On Friday, Maddow's was the #1 show in the demo at 9pmET topping a Hannity-less H&C. http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/msnbc/two_weeks_in_maddow_a_hit_for_msnbc_95238.asp:woohoo:

1. Oh, boy is this good! I hope Joe Scar is burning up with envy! |
|
I can never forgive him forhis treatment of her last summer, accusing her of having the "Hillary cackle." I wanted to go through the TV and strangle him...
Brava, Rachel!!!

9. I find it delightfully shocking that the masses actually agree with me on something! |
|
Rachel is brilliant... she is incredibly intelligent... she doesn't know everything, but dadgummit, she knows where to find the answer to most any question!
In this age of celebritard, I'm shocked someone of this caliber is growing an audience so quickly!

She is so different than most other liberal radio folk, meaning she is intelligent and mostly serious! I'm not sure what is up with the media these days, but perhaps they are getting the hint that carrying water for the GOP gets your hands dirty! Now that McCain and Palin are spewing their hate toward the media, they should get a clue as to who their friends aren't!

21. Now imagine if the other cable news stations took note and maybe |
|
offered Thom Hartmann, Bobby Kennedy, Jr., Sam Seder, Mike Papantonio and other well educated, well researched show hosts their own shows and replaced Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity and Dick Gregory, et al, what their ratings could be.

26. Love Bobby Kennedy Jr. but CAN NOT STAND his voice, |
|
may-be on TV it wouldn't be as bad as it is on radio. Sorry to say that too, love his ideas etc.

29. I don't notice his voice because I am listening to what he's saying. |
|
His voice is some medical defect he has. I think we need to get news people on TV who can do the job, not necessarily look or sound the part.

Maybe they should do that "fiduciary duty to stockholders" thing, and get themselves another liberal.
