Break-in at Dan Seals IL-10 Waukegan Office!

From Dan's campaign manager:

I received a call this morning at 6:00 a.m. that our Waukegan Office was broken into.

First they tried to break down the back door, then they hurled something through the front and they robbed us. Police are currently looking for suspects.

I am just happy that no one was hurt.

For those who have never been to the office, this is where we welcome voters, launch canvassing drives, host phone banks, and hold forums.

It is a vital part of our efforts to engage and support a community that has had more than its fair share of challenges.

I don't know who broke into our office, but I know we can't let them stop us.

The next six weeks are crucial. We need your help to get our office back.

Help us rebuild the Waukegan office:

Security System & Camera Installation: $650

Laptops Purchased at Best Buy: $600 per laptop

1. Do republican offices get broken into with the regularity

that the Dems do?

It seems like every time I turn around, another Dem office has been vandalized, usually with the only thing taken being computer systems. The last one I remember is John Yarmouth of Kentucky.

You'd almost think someone is coordinating or encouraging these attacks.

5. MEDIA SHOULD TAKE A TALLY

I have no doubt that the Dem's offices get broken into the most. I have heard of at least one in MN. Why the hell are people not taking their computers home. It is stupid to leave them and any pertinent info that matters. How stupid. I think that there needs to be a serious tally and someone needs to report it and analyze it. I mean, are Republicans that violent ? We know but does the public know? They should.

2. Take your laptops home with you. Leave a laptop with some code that

sends out email to the local police office with ip address information saying that is has been stolen as soon as it boots up.

Rig the office with an inexpensive video feed recording at an off site location.

I volunteered for Seals in the last election. His opponent, mark kirk is a conservative who tries to convince people he is independent it's whole bunch of bullcrap!

4. What did you guys put the office downtown or on

Belvedere Road? Smash and grabs are a part of those locations...
