I see and hear this comment all the time online, radio shows, etc...

Or that we are all in cushy jobs we somehow don't deserve and just clock watch?

And somehow, they believe that we just have all this free time to participate in the political landscape that they supposedly don't have because conservatives are working all the time and paying taxes and taking care of their families.

But do really know anyone like that personally?

Of course, I have to admit I have some bias in the other direction. I don't necessarily think of them as unemployed, but I have a stereotype of them feeling stuck in a rut and feel that somehow, liberals are to blame for their shitty situation (apparently, they would all be multi-millionaires and have perfect lives if not for the fact that pay taxes).

p.s. Today I found myself behind a pickup truck that had all kinds of 'proud to be a veteran' type stickers AND 'impeach b*sh' stickers. Made my day. I love me some lib'rul vets!

5. Liberals
The liberal is part 1960s college student war protester hippie, part 1930s anarchist trade unionist , part 1970s bra-burning feminist, and part 1980s era black welfare queen. They collect their unemployment checks that were taken out of the hardworking business owner's profits or their welfare checks taken from all of those hard-working business owner's taxes, that they then use to buy drugs or have wild promiscuous sex parties. They're intellectual elites that pretend to be smarter than those same hard-working business owners, but they do nothing for the economy.

They spit on hard-working soldiers coming back from wars and if they do end in the military, they're always the lazy shiftless ones that don't do any real work - a lot of 'em are junior officers who never make their way to becoming senior officers. They're virulently anti-religious, and would close all the churches in America if they could.

Liberals want government to own everything, want to take away your guns and your money and your house. They're all secretly communists. They want to strangle you in red tape, want to keep you from claiming that little extra on your taxes that you deserve for all your hard work.

Liberals never wash, and smell funny. They dress weird. They use fancy words like post-modernism and they support putting crucifixes in urine and calling it art. They all want to burn the flag. They care more for trees than they do for people, and can't understand why drilling for oil in Alaska's a good idea. They're all eco-terrorists, and buy special "organic" because they distrust business. They distrust business. They don't obey authorities and openly flout the rules.

Liberals are evil. They'll all go to hell.

6. I know a few who are a little like that - they also think most liberals still look like
somebody at Woodstock - i.e. no liberals have short or shorter hair, don't have umpteen tattoos/piercings/dyed hair, or have any type of 'regular' job (they must think we're all artists, musicians, the hated Hollywood actors), blah blah blah. I've also long hated the way a lot of them 'assume' you're one of them at many of the places I've worked.
