I filled out my absentee ballot this evening.
And my wife will drop them off in the morning. She works across the street from the Elections Supervisors office. I voted for every Democrat on the ticket, except one. The guy I voted against was just an opportunistic prick. He ran for Clerk of Courts in 2004 as a Dem, and we all supported him. A week after he lost, he held a press conference saying that he was switching parties because he didn't support the Democrats values. He was going to run as a repuke this year, but when they decided to support someone else, he switched back and ran as a Dem again. Fuck him.

I voted against retaining every Appeals Court Judge, because they were all Jeb Bush appointees. I voted to retain the one Supreme Court Justice. I wrote in Mickey Mouse (my wife wrote in Sarah Palin) against a repuke County Commissioner who was running unopposed.

And I voted against every Constitutional amendment giving this legislature more power, and the dreaded Defense of Marriage act.

2. Are absentee ballots counted the same?
I heard they only count them when there is a tie...

3. Not here in Ga. When we went to vote in 2004 we went to the
registrars headquarters during early voting, and while we were waiting in line I watched the clerks enter to absentee votting ballots into the Diebold machines that were on there desks. I hate Diebold as much as you do, but at least the ballots ar entered.
