first, using our tax money in a blank check, Trillions, to bail out Wall Street recklessness.

and secondly, to take control of the money out of Congress and put in under Paulson. King Paulson?

31. Letter to Jim Webb
Dear Mr. Webb:

I hope you will give considerable thought to voting no on this bailout plan. I don't want the administration that has ruined our country and gotten us into pointless endless wars to be responsible for the banking system in this country. I think this plan is just a bandaid to keep the market from falling until after the election. The consequences of passing this bill will be run-away inflation and a devaluation of the dollar that will leave us in the poor house for many years to come. Please don't let these crooks get away with it. They should be impeached removed from office and indicted!

Sincerely,

i am opposed to any bailout that henry paulson is associated with. apparently goldman sachs will be a big beneficiary of this bailout, and that is HIS company. it is a conflict of interest and a scandal. stop letting the taxpayers be robbed. draw the line. represent your constituency instead of your lobbyist money people.

i said "please" to my democratic representative.

42. The only thing preventing Democrats from opposing this unanimously....
is the upcoming election. They are afraid we will go into a Depression and they will be blamed for it. The people, Dems and Repubs, are against this. The Democrats need to stop acting like Republicans and letting Republicans act like Democrats. They are holding all the cards and are still cowards. They can call the shots. If the White House refuses, the upcoming "Depression" will be in their lap. Democrats need to stand up on this issue.
