is this crisis real?

seems to me that cooking the books to make it look like wall street is crashing is an even easier task for the BFEE than making 2 huge skyscrapers fall into their own footprints. my opinion of this mess is that it is the last gasp of the criminals who are about to be run out of d.c. and elsewhere. taking one fat swipe at the treasury, deepening our national ptsd (i think they know something military is not going to be tolerated) and what the heck, maybe even pulling out a few votes.
in short, i think this is the october surprise.
what do you think?
