If the US economy is about to totally collapse. |
|
How many Senators, congressmen, corporate media economists and owners are going to let you now this is going to happen. I imagine there can only be a handful of people in the above loosely named groups that don't have a significant financial stake involved and even they would find their future way of life seriously in doubt.
Before these very few people decide what best for the masses shouldn't everyone of them or at least the elected or appointed officials disclose publicly exactly what conflict of interests they have on an issue of such magnitude. After all any of them with any investments clearly have the ability to influence the outcome favorable for themselves which in many cases would be detrimental to the normal taxpayers.
The foreign media around the world have been much more forthcoming in the magnitude of the crisis your economy faces while your corporate media has been very much hiding the facts that you will probably not see the light at the end of the tunnel for a very long time, maybe even decades. All this talk of the bailout of $700B will not even scratch the surface of the underlying problems. All it will do is blow that bubble a tiny bit bigger before it bursts.
while that bubble grows that little bit bigger everyone in your government and financial sectors with connections will know what is coming and have the chance to protect themselves and their friends without a single thought for the likes of you.

1. leave it to other people around the world who stay informed |
|
about the current crisis that is facing us right now, this is our financial shock and awe, and there are some of us who are quite aware of the ramifications of this dangerous situation.

2. There is a lot of denial going on |
|
I guess as long as Dancing with the Stars, Survivor, plus the baseball playoffs and NFL is on the populous will be placated, then again maybe these things are useful to escape, though alcohol and marijuana is much preferred.

5. Yes, I would like to know exactly what every corporate media economist |
|
and every bank owner and every congressperson is doing with his or her money.
Who's bailing, who's buying gold, who's sucking up the cheap stock now??

6. If the economy was about to collapse, they would take anything they could get, they wouldn't demand |
|
more or better, so I really don't believe it's as bad as they make out.
