As one who has very little understanding of the current "crisis"

in the economic sector, I'd just like to know what people think about the possibility that this is the last great cash grab by the Republicans. In a way, that would be a good thing because it means they're pretty damn sure they won't be in power in six months.

1. While it's good they won't be in power

Come January, it's not good that they are putting the country another "trillion" dollars in debt! This will really put a bind on Obama's first 4 years and will cause severe problems with getting much needed "change" accomplished in areas like health care. I still think they had no plans on winning this year, but instead are trying to make it has hard as possible for Obama to accomplish anything his first term.
