Tie Wall Street bailout to Bu$h/Cheney resignations. |
|
If the peril is as dire as Paulson just said, then Bu$h has to sign almost anything sent to him by Congress. Go for the moon!

Public humiliations, stocks and pillories, perhaps some forced neutering. We can start a new Eunich industry.

|
and people can come by, watch them go about their caged existence, toss them kibble every now and then ...and generally point and laugh at them?

10. good idea - but for a twist |

We could hand out excrement to the visitors, so it will be the only zoo ever where people fling poo at the monkeys!

5. How about bailing out ONLY the homeowners facing foreclosures. |
|
Taking over their mortgages, and earning the interest instead of paying interest on giveaways.

shutting down the war in Iraq. Want the bailout? Stop the war, we can't finance both. Start a phased and orderly withdrawl before the ink dries on the deal. ;)

8. Don't forget Afghanistan! |
|
Otherwise they'd jump at that, since they're planning on redeploying everyone there anyway.
Still, I very much like this idea of yours.

I think we've done more than enough damage there too. There's nothing to win there, it's a country no one wants to govern so we might as well just get the hell out and come home, we have enough problems that need tending to here, time to stop playing empire.
