Bernanke 'recession is more likely without bailout'
recession can't be more likely than 100% they've restated numbers from 2007. We are already in a recession.

3. Bernanke and Paulson act like kids with their hands in their
cookie jar. They are guilty as hell. Guilty, guilty, guilty. Paulson was working in the industry when this crisis was being prepared.

Sherrod Brown pointed out that no ordinary voters are for this. He pointed out the difference between rich people and poor.

Bernanke's answer that Wall Street is close to Main Street is a joke. Wall Street did not care about our jobs, our salaries, the lack of money on Main Street, the lck of health care for ordinary folks. Wall Street is a pig with piggy values and piggy manners. And they sould be left to find their own food at this point.

If we had money, we could bail them out, but they've already robbed us blind. Now they are back for money that does not exist, for value that does not exist.

6. To borrow a phrase from the dear leader
"Bring'em on!"

I'm serious, no bailout! Fuck'em! If we do this bailout we'll just have to do it again in a couple of years. The system is so corrupted we might as well let it fall and start over with a new deal. Go right back to the 1930's and copy FDR's plan.

10. That's what I'm hearing too..
that we're only about half-way through this crisis, so we're throwing bad money after bad. This plan is not going to work.

13. I've been advocating that here for a while..
not that I'm a financial genius, but I was reading the tea leaves. Consumer debt is a very bad thing to be carrying right now. GET OUT NOW IF YOU CAN!!!

15. you want to hear something funny? Ok BOFA bought my MC from MBNA, we've had
that account since 1988, so BOFA buys up MBNA and then our account info was "Compromised", never happened with MBNA btw. Ok so they issue me 2 new cards and i call them up to ask how the info was compromised and i get the run around and in the next breath the rep says to me "Kim, we have a great offer for you on a BOFA MC" i already have one but he says "No Kim, this one has a $55,000 credit line". Needless to say i told him BOFA has lost their damn minds and no thanks i don't need another MC. And this is how people get into trouble.

14. Bernanke and Paulson and all these guys should be ordered
by a court to volunteer 40 hours per week for two years working directly with homeless people, trying to get them jobs, healthcare and housing. That would make them more realistic. Then they would understand what is going on out here on Main Street.

16. Paulson in particular is disgustingly smug. What awful, cruel
people. The more I see of Bernanke and Paulson, the more I oppose this.

17. Charles Krauthammer was just talking the other night about..
how lucky we are to have these two gentlemen to get us out of this crisis. Funny, I was thinking just the opposite, but yet, when it comes to that dirtbag, I usually do.
