A plea: Constitution & Voting Day |
|
Can someone please point me in the direction of a good summary of what the Constitution says about the day on which we should vote, etc?
I have some pigheaded fool calling out early voting saying it's unconstitutional and basically acting like it's a scam. He says, "The constitution makes it very clear what day is election day"...
I don't even know where to begin to rebut him. Reading the Constitution sure, but is there somewhere that summarizes nicely how early voting is not unconstitutional?
Thanks!

I'm no expert on the American Constitution, but here's an amateur opinion. The Constitution may be clear about election day, and may not say anything about allowing early voting, but that doesn't mean there's anything PROHIBITING early voting.
