Do you really want Republicans to switch over to OBAMA?
Do you really? Do you really want the Democrats to have a colossal landslide in November? Do you really want Obama to win?
Good! Then don't pass this bailout. Do not adjourn even if it takes till the election. Don't bail on the taxpayers. Many, many republicans are crying becuase they thought the Republicans were suppose to cut spending by 700 Billion not give it away! Whom ever gives this away looses! Now if the right thing to do, which is be on the side of the taxpayer doesn't do it for you, then maybe this will.

5. Some Republicans
should switch over their support. It would need to be a substantial amount of them but in doing so, with integrity and if possible, honesty, show they are Patriotic and support Obama and the people around him. We really need this Nation to actually come together and not on the Republicans interpretation of coming together, which always means their way only, no questions asked crap. McCain needs to be exposed to the light for the American people.

4. You missed the point I hope.
At a company meeting today one of my co-workers who is a die hard republican was very lost. He said "I have lost half the value of my 401k and I don't understand this 700 billion bailout. I mean, I thought republicans are suppose to cut 700 billion from government spending not add 700 billion to it." There are many republicans who are greatly unhappy by what their leaders have allowed to happen. If the Democrats were to stop this bailout many would admire that and possibly switch over. As I said before whom ever is labled as allowing this bailout to go forward is doomed. What would be the difference then between the Republicans and the Democrats. They both give to the rich and corrupt.

6. I want to avoid an economic depression
Politics aside, this is serious shit. We could have double digit unemployment if a bailout plan isn't implemented.

7. it's not the dems policies that landed us in this mess
palin and simple (yes, I know).

The world economic markets depend on some sort of reasonable solution and it is only a bail-out. The questions now are with what oversight and at what price will the stock be valued when purchased?

Yes, the Republicans are calling for this bail out. Yes, it is their deregulation that got us here.
The Dems could walk away and that would cause either a veto or the depression.

it's not pretty, but it's also not the Dems who landed us here.

IF this guy is paying attention, he should know how we got here.

I lost half of my life savings. I'm not happy either.

It's not coming back.

now we have to deal with what is. This is what they gave us- what we all get - for having these asshats in power for too long.

Thank you, sub-literates and knuckle-draggers and fear-mongers.

As is always the case, they have made all their worst fears come true. We are now a Republicanly Nationalized State. The GOPPERS cry of less government has become an international joke.
